With a foreword from Mukesh Ambani and preface by Kishore Biyani, Damodar Mall's first book, SuperMarketWala – Secrets to Winning Consumer India, was launched on 17 September at the India Retail Forum 2014. Drawing inspiration from Paco Underhill, Mall's book talks about observations and experiences in the retail sector. A collectivization of Mall's blog at Forbes, the book has become the focal point of the launch of the retail know-how brand, SuperMarketWala.
